What is Carboxytherapy treatment?

Carboxytherapy treatment consists of microinjections of CO2 into the dermis using a fine needle, repeated approximately 10 times a week. A half-hour session can treat areas such as the limbs, face, neck, and décolleté, as well as any area requiring an elasticity boost. After just five sessions, initial results can be seen in terms of improved skin firmness and reduced limb swelling.

The effectiveness of the treatment has been described in scientific studies which have highlighted a stimulus for the Fibroblasts in the production of new collagen with a consequent improvement in the elasticity and turgor of the skin and a beneficial vasodilatory action that restores blood flow even in the most atrophic areas.

Carboxytherapy: what is it for?

Useful in the treatment of cellulite because, by increasing the speed of local tissue blood flow and improving microcirculation, it effectively counteracts the "orange peel" effect and allows a reduction in localized fat deposits with its lipolytic properties. It is also effective in the treatment of skin aging because it has a direct metabolic action on skin cells, releases growth factors, and, with its mechanical detachment action, performs a true "gentle facelift."
